Connecting Your First Stripe Account
A step-by-step guide to linking your Stripe account to Karsilo using secure OAuth.
Start the connection flow
From your Karsilo dashboard, click the 'Add Stripe Account' button. This opens Stripe's official OAuth authorization page where you can select which Stripe account to connect. Karsilo never sees or stores your Stripe credentials.
Authorize Karsilo
On the Stripe authorization page, review the permissions Karsilo is requesting. We only require read access to your charges, subscriptions, customers, and balance data. Click 'Connect' to grant access and return to Karsilo.
Initial data sync
After authorization, Karsilo begins syncing your historical data. Depending on your account size, this may take a few minutes. You'll see a progress indicator on the dashboard. Recent transactions appear first, with older data backfilling in the background.
Verify the connection
Once the sync completes, your Stripe account will appear in the sidebar with a green status indicator. Click on it to see revenue metrics, recent charges, and subscription data. If anything looks off, try disconnecting and reconnecting the account.
